Wow, it has been a long time, and then it was just a joke ... I really need to come back and play more often! Winter was a doozie here in Iowa ... enough snow and ice to have us declared a disaster area three times but so very beautiful and Scruffy loved it! This album shows some of the fun at home and this one shows a train trip through the Rockies and Sierra Nevada's in January ... Have not added March's trip yet, it wasn't as spectacular as January ...
The reason I am going to ATTEMPT to come back here is I have started a new hobby or interest and wanted to share. This site will show you how to send postcards to strangers (hopefully soon to be acquaintances at least) all over the world. It is a free site, so the only investment is a few postcards and some postage ... bring a smile to someone's life and maybe a few to your own ...
we'll see how it all works out. I am just starting but think it will be fun!
So I will try to get back here more often, tell a little about what is happening, maybe share a recipe or a trip ... we shall see.
